Guiding (Wayfinding)
North Canberra HospitalIt can be daunting and overwhelming for visitors and outpatients when they enter hospitals, trying to figure out where they need to go. Guiding volunteers help to alleviate this by meeting and greeting visitors and outpatients, directing them to where they need to go, or walking with them.
This highly valued service operates Mon-Friday, with shifts 8:30am-11am, 11am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-4pm.
Once volunteers are on-boarded, they are matched with a current Guiding Volunteer to orientate them to the role and the hospital.
