The Assistant Volunteer Team Leader will be responsible for supervising the teams Volunteer Engagement Team Members, ensuring new members are being well supported. The Assistant Volunteer Team Leader will supervise the leadership team in the absence of the Team Leader, organise regular team leadership meetings and ensure the team goals and expectations are met.

The Assistant Volunteer Team Leader supports to lead, organise and manage a vibrant and thriving team, that attracts and retains motivated volunteers, to be active in the delivery of events. Assisting the leadership team to deliver engaging quality training, offer support, guidance and development to provide the best possible experience for volunteers.

The Assistant Volunteer Team Leader supports the Team Leader by undertaking an active leadership role within the team, including resolving conflict and maintaining open communication.
