The Bloomhill Boutique is currently seeking several Volunteers to assist with the day-to-day functions within the store. Reporting to the Store Manager the key responsibilities include:

Provide a high level of customer service to support new and existing clients in store.

Create genuine customer relationships to ensure a welcoming customer experience to promote return custom.

Support a high level of store presentation including cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor and back of house.

Assist in sorting and organising donated items and new stock from our local artisans.

Prepare items for sale including labelling and ironing.

Assist customers in store with their purchases – sharing information, related products and operating the point of sale.

Follow direction from the Bloomhill employees.

Confidently sharing the Bloomhill mission with customers, encouraging donations to support our cancer care services.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

1+ years of retail experience

Ability to work independently and take ownership of individual responsibilities

Ability to work as a part of a team of employees and volunteers to support the store operation

Excellent verbal communication skills

Excellent time management skills and punctuality

High level of attention to detail

Ability to lift and move items of varying dimensions

Ability to work in a culture of continuous improvement

Excellent personal presentation

Understanding of Bloomhill Cancer Care

Alignment with our values and contribute to a productive and positive culture
