Positive, Caring, Engaging Cooks required to create delicious, nutritious social club lunches.

Your diners will be small groups of Aged Care and NDIS participants who may wish to assist you in preparation as an enjoyable social engagement. The overall aim is to improve the meal-time experience of clients where food is or could be a highlight in their day.

Cockburn Care Social Club activities are run through Jean Willis House in Hamilton Hill weekdays providing an opportunity for people to get out of the house, make friendships, pursue hobbies and interests and engage with their community. Knowledge of food safety standards and dietary requirements beneficial. Shirt and apron provided.

Tasks include:

• Work with the Social Centre Coordinator to create a monthly menu
• Create a weekly shopping list
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for social club members.
• Encourage member participation in food preparation and cleaning up
• Assist staff with dishwashing and kitchen clean up
• Adhere to food safety standards
