Community Visitors Scheme Volunteer

Chorus - CVRC
Logo for Chorus - CVRC

Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) volunteers provide a friendly face and a chat to seniors in our community that are isolated and vulnerable to loneliness. Volunteer visits can greatly enhance and enrich the quality of life for people with limited social contact. The visit will take place at a residential aged care home or at the resident of the senior.

The CVS program will match volunteers and seniors based on shared interests for one-on-one visits. The locations are across multiple suburbs in the Southwest Metro area, including in the City of Cockburn.

CVS provides a much needed and very valuable opportunity to give assistance to those in need. In return for volunteering, you will be rewarded with feeling proud to be contributing and doing something worthwhile within your community.
