Calvary Aged Care is one of Australia's most experienced and trusted providers of aged care services. Our site at Cowandilla runs a high quality and engaging activities program during the week for our elderly residents, encouraging personal development and increasing life satisfaction, in a group or individual setting. We run many activities during the weekly program and we are looking for someone who would enjoy coming along to enjoy a chat and spending time with our residents during the morning or afternoon. Our resident’s get a lot out of engaging with new people and this is a great way to get to know them as they attend our weekly program. The position would best suit those with patience, empathy, and a passion for positive ageing. Any training required will be provided, with ongoing support. All volunteers require a police clearance (paid for by employer) for the purposes of Aged Care, which will be facilitated by Calvary, and evidence of vaccination against influenza and Covid. If you have 2 – 5 hours to offer Monday - Friday we would love to hear from you. In return we can offer a rewarding opportunity to volunteer in a caring and happy environment.
