Selection Criteria for Youth Worker Volunteer Position

• Has to be from an African background
• Able to comply with our community service safe work plan and all other Sister Project’s policies and procedures
• Requires to have good relationship and rapport building skills with females and males, young and old, in our African/Australian communities
• Previous experience doing youth work not necessary
• Be open-minded, resourceful and respectful
• Be willing to participate in meeting people one-on-one, in groups, in school environments, in their homes and in public places
• Assist recording and documenting data
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current satisfactory national police clearance
