Assembled Threads is auspiced by Farnham Street Neighbourhood Learning Centre. The people working here are offered training and employment skills and are from culturally and linguistically backgrounds, often very little schooling, and low levels of English. We ask that mentors spend an hour a week during work hours with their mentee, helping them with English conversation, or any other aspect of English where there is a need.
