Join our Community Wellbeing team…

• Connect with older residents in the community and form new friendships
• Transport and assist people to complete their weekly shopping or visit their local library
• Assist with meaningful social activities and outings that ease loneliness and increase community connection
• Assist older residents who can no longer drive to get to medical and essential appointments and maintain independence at home

The success of our programs is dependent on caring volunteers from all walks of life who donate their time and energy to the City of Mitcham’s residents. If you enjoy meeting people and can spare a few hours per week, either in an individual or group program, we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteers who use their own vehicle for transporting residents are required to provide copies of current Driver's Licence, Registration, Comprehensive Insurance and a Roadworthy check (paid by Council).
