Volunteer Cooking Leader Wanted!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate volunteer to lead our Community Lunch program, Wednesdays, on a monthly basis at our Community House. As the Cooking Leader, you will be responsible for creating nutritious and delicious meals for our community members and helping to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at lunchtime.

Responsibilities include: • Plan and prepare healthy and tasty meals for up to 30 people • Supervise and support a volunteer team of 4 people in the kitchen • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment • Work within a tight budget to purchase necessary food items • Communicate effectively with staff and other volunteers. • Prepare most of the meal in our kitchen

Requirements: • Experience in cooking and meal preparation • Ability to work well in a team environment • Good organisational and communication skills • A positive and approachable attitude • Ability to work within a tight budget
