Spend time chatting with people who may be frail and elderly, or living with dementia, at our residential aged care home in Scone. Visit on a regular basis and enjoy a cuppa tea, play a board games, listen to some music, go for a gentle walk on our grounds or just sit and enjoy some great conversations.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme [ACVVS] is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and their local community. HammondCare is an approved provider.
