As a Games and Puzzle Volunteer, you will provide companionship and meaningful engagement for older people living with dementia in a residential care home. Spend time sitting alongside one another enjoying the challenge of completing a puzzle together, or perhaps playing simple card games, dominos or scrabble, depending on the ability of the residents.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
