About the role

We are seeking Learn2Tech Digital Mentors that can speak fluent Greek, to assist two female participants.

Our Participants have requested a female volunteer. If you do not speak Greek/meet the criteria, check out our other roles via our website or Volunteering Queensland.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Empowering isolated and lonely seniors to connect and engage through technology.
• Increasing digital skills and confidence.
• Helping maintain independence.
• Supporting Participant to learn.
• Logging shifts in Polixen app and completing monthly support check-in.
• Completing basic administration such as logging shifts in Polixen App and completing Monthly Support Review forms, so we can support you.
• Working in a safe manner and reporting any incidents or concerns.
• Reviewing/responding to emails/calls in a timely manner.
• Completing online training, where required and attending recognition events, as required.
• Abiding by the organisation's policies, procedures, and guidelines.

We aim to complete the onboarding process in less than 7-14 days.
