Hammondville residential aged care home provide care for people living with dementia. We are looking for a lead singer, who will be accompanied by a pianist for a singalong group that occurs every fortnight on a Tuesday between 10:30am and 12 noon.

The main purpose of the role is to help people living with dementia to reminiscence. The role is not for a professional singer, instead for someone with a love for music and singing and the passion to make a difference to our elderly residents.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
