This position supports Mission Australia with the translation of wellbeing surveys provided to clients during their journey reducing barriers of engagement and importantly enabling a measurement of client and service level outcomes.

Working with our Impact and Measurement team this role will enable the development and use of dual translation of surveys to better support services and participation of clients from cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

This will improve the measurement of client and service level outcomes.

Activities include:

• Translate approximately 2 surveys from English to Dari
• Possibility of translating other documents such as participant information sheets
• Initial start-up meeting, completion meeting and any other progress meetings as required

Requirements include:

• High level of written English and Dari
• Experience translating documents (desirable).
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word.
• If required access to dual language keyboard or software to complete the translation
• Ability to actively support Mission Australia’s purpose and values
• Ability to work in accordance with Mission Australia policies and procedures
