Volunteer West is advertising this position on behalf of Maidstone Community Centre

We are looking someone easy-going, friendly and sociable with a passion for children and people to assist our Playgroup Facilitator in running weekly sessions at our community centre.

The role involves:

• Helping to set and pack up for playgroup
• Assisting parents and children with art and craft activities
• Introducing new parents to the space and playgroup facilitator

Ideally you will be available for 3 hours once a week and happy to commit to the role for 3 to 12 months.

As a playgroup assistant you will develop meaningful social connections, gain experience working with children and learn how to run a successful playgroup.
