Ted Noffs Foundation NSW
Logo for Ted Noffs Foundation NSW

The Street University concept is founded on an idea Ted Noffs envisioned in the 60s in Sydney – that “no young person is a write off”. Every Street University centre is unique. The programs are tailored to local young people’s interests and are often run by the young people themselves. Our mantra is “for the street, by the street”.

The Street University supports young people in need. As part of this, we provide food hampers to the local community experiencing food insecurity. We are seeking volunteers to assist in the centre (based in Moorebank) every week on Fridays 12.30pm till 4.30pm.

Duties include:

  • Sorting fresh food from food rescue organisations
  • Packing pantry and fresh food parcels
  • Restocking our pantry and fresh food spaces
  • Helping with daily set-up and pack down

No Skills required, just be willing to work well within a team.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
