HammondCare is dedicated to providing residential aged care for people who can no longer be supported in their own home and who require a greater level of care and support.
As you volunteer and visit residents in one of our care homes or dementia cottages, you may help with a variety of activities, including flower floral arrangements. In this volunteer role at HammondCare Erina, you'll be assisting aged care residents who are living with dementia place flowers into vases for their rooms or around the cottage home.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
