Do you enjoy communicating with fellow Italians? We need your assistance! Calvary Flora McDonald is seeking volunteers who would enjoy spending time with our Italian residents in our facility. If you enjoy chatting, and generally engaging socially with people we would like to chat with you. Many of our Italian residents love having a group chat with there fellow Italian residents, and you would be a welcome companion, together communicating over and Italian Coffee and Italian morning tea. All food and beverages are supplied. The position would best suit those able to speak Italian, patience, empathy, and a passion for healthy ageing. All volunteers require a police clearance (paid by Calvary) for the purposes of Aged Care, which will be facilitated by Calvary, and evidence of vaccination against influenza and Covid. If you have 2 – 5 hours to offer on a specific day, Monday - Friday we would love to hear from you. In return we can offer a rewarding opportunity to volunteer in a caring and happy environment.
