This volunteer opportunity will help to build visually appealing and effective training resources used to equip our staff to provide quality care to the people we serve.

Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute or practice your design skills while making a meaningful difference?

We are looking for skilled or emerging digital designers to enhance our training resources by creating new content and applying your knowledge of design principles to existing resources.

Visually appealing and effective training resources will help our dedicated Resource Management Team to “Learn, Grow and Thrive” so they can assist in providing quality care to our Blue Care community staff and the people we serve.

This volunteer role can be undertaken remotely from the comfort of your home, but we encourage volunteers local to our offices to apply so you have access to produce still and motion content. We have offices in Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Eleonora, and Alex Hills.

Our team, the Resource Management Team, is making a difference through human-centred design projects. Be a part of an innovative and fast-paced environment where your skills and creativity will be valued.

Tasks involved include: ▪ Produce still and motion content. ▪️ Create short animations with voiceovers. ▪️ Create video clips. ▪️ Upload new content to our digital asset library. ▪️ Redesign digital training resources (PowerPoints, PDF’s).

Skills Required: ▪️ Knowledge of design principles and best practices. ▪️ Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software. ▪️ Own or have access to hardware and software needed to undertake the tasks.
