Would you like to support those people living within the City of Holdfast Bay who have difficulty accessing public transport and have no access to a private vehicle? Being a Volunteer Community Bus assistant would mean you would participate in the transportation of disadvantaged or socially isolated people to specific destinations, including shopping centres, libraries and day trips. The Community Bus is a door-to-door service. With a bus driver and a bus assistant on each run, this is a service in need of volunteers who are an integral part of servicing our local community. The runs are approx 3.5 hours weekly, we would welcome volunteers to do 1 or 2 a week with the occasional 5 hour day bus trip.
