Our volunteers are caring, kind and thoughtful and have a genuine interest in developing a friendship with a person with a disability. They are committed to making a difference and ensuring people with a disability feel connected to our community.

We are currently seeking a Leisure Buddy Volunteer in the Richmond area for a thoughtful and friendly man in his mid forties. You will have a passion for music, enjoy shopping and socialising.

Marcus would love to have a friend who is available to go on outings on a fortnightly basis, usually on weekends.

No previous experience is required. Competencies include a warm, friendly approach as well as empathy, good communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Reliability and a willingness to commit to very regular contact for a minimum of 12 months is a requirement.
