Uniting AgeWell Social Connections Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love.

We are looking for Volunteers to support people over the age of 65 to attend a lunch outing once a month. These outings are about connecting people over a delicious meal and some friendly conversation. The participants of the group have limited opportunities to get out and about need your support to get to and from these outings. Not only will you be supporting a person with transport but you will also be getting to know new and interesting people over lunch.

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to support the following social outings • Narre Warren Lunch Outings (4th Tuesday of the month) • Cranbourne Lunch Outings (4th Thursday of every month)

The selected applicant will have a willingness to support participants who reside anywhere in the City of Casey to get to and from the lunch outings. A current driver’s license and your own road worthy vehicle (able to accommodate a four wheel walker) are essential.

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is essential for this role. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
