Volunteers of Glen Eira are advertising this role on behalf of U3A Bentleigh.

U3A Bentleigh is a not for profit organisation that caters for the physical, mental and social inclusion of our members. We encourage retired and semi-retired members to stay active in their community through a wide range of programs.

A exercise tutor is sought to lead a group of U3A members in age appropriate exercise.

We currently have an Exercise tutor, but the number of members trying to access this class indicates that there is a lot of interest.

We would negotiate times and a date weekly or fortnightly that would be suitable both to the tutor and to U3A Bentleigh, and we would be looking for the program to run for 1 to 1.5 hours in the Gym.

Mentoring with the current tutor may be arranged on request if required.

You must be able to translate exercise routines suitable for older members of the community, most of whom would be beginners and of variable physical abilities.
