Open House is a small Christian charity organisation that has been serving the community for over 50 years. As a not-for-profit organisation, we depend on volunteers to help us in the delivery of our services. We seek volunteers who are caring, kind and committed to our mission of giving long-term friendship and support to children, young people, and adults in our community, particularly those who are disadvantaged or socially isolated.

This Program has proven to be a vital community service, as it helps children in need get to school so they can have access to education, and it has been life-changing for many children and their families.

The Position:

The task involves conducting a bus pick-up service for local children and dropping them off at school. In this role the Bus Driver is fully supported by an onboard Assistant who helps with navigation and getting the children on and off the bus safely.

• Experienced and confident driver (a standard car Driver Licence is required)
• Patient
• Punctual
• Reliable and committed
• Excellent interpersonal skills
