The purpose of the role is to support people in the local community by providing transport to events and appointments.

Driving a 12-seater minibus provides transport to people in the local community who do not have access to their own transport, or the capacity to drive long distances.  This will help people to attend activities, events and appointments.  Some elderly passengers may also require assistance to get on and off the bus or with their bags.

Your contribution will support the Discovery Coast Community Support Service to assist disadvantaged members of the local community.  The bus is located at Agnes Water but some activities might be in Bundaberg and Gladstone during business hours.

Tasks involved include: ▪️ Dive Bus in a safe manner following road rules at all times ▪️ Complete logbooks and other paperwork as required ▪️ Ensure the bus is full of fuel after each drive and at the time of fuelling, check other fluid levels  ▪️ Assist passengers as required ▪️ Follow processes for reporting any accidents or damage if relevant
