MS Plus is funded to provide the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We are seeking a Volunteer Visitor available for a weekday visit to a delightful gentleman living in a Aged Care Home in McKinnon who needs a companion that can speak Auslan. This gentleman enjoys his footy, staying active and enjoys playing word games and UNO.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be able to speak Auslan, be caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
