We are looking for a friendly and committed volunteer coordinator to help us deliver our programs and make a significant difference in people's lives.

Activities include:

• Organise volunteers
• Work closely with volunteers
• Make Foodbank orders
• Organise Foodbank pick-ups
• Organise products for fundraising
• Food hampers' preparation
• Food campaigns
• Food donations

Volunteering with CASA is a great way to connect with your community, stay active, and have fun sharing skills and experiences. Gives you the chance to help others and positively impact other volunteers and the community whilst using existing skills and learning new ones whilst you coordinate the program.

Community Action Services Australia (CASA) is a non-profit organisation, registered charity, and endorsed deductible gift recipient (DGR) based in Wakeley serving Greater Western Sydney. We strive to assist everyone in the community, regardless of age, gender, nationality, religion, or sexuality.

Unlike paid staff, volunteers are not covered by the conditions of employment, however, they do have rights and responsibilities.

Rights of volunteers: • Work in a safe environment. • Be covered by insurance. • Receive training and relevant information. • Be recognised and respected as a valued team member.

Responsibilities of volunteers: • Be reliable and notify CASA of changes to availability. • Abide by policies and procedures. • Meet commitments. • Respect the rights and privacy of others.
