We are looking for friendly and committed volunteers to help us deliver our programs and make a significant difference in people's lives.

Activities include:

• Food preparation room set-up/pack-up
• Clean and sanitize the work area
• Sort through fruit & vegetables
• Evenly distribute food to food hamper boxes
• Interact with community members
• Keep clean the storerooms
• Keep updating the food inventory

Volunteering with CASA is a great way to connect with your community, stay active, and have fun sharing skills and experiences. Gives you the chance to help others and positively impact your community whilst using existing skills and learning new ones whilst you volunteer.

community Action Services Australia (CASA) is a non-profit organisation, registered charity, and endorsed deductible gift recipient (DGR) based in Wakeley serving Greater Western Sydney. We strive to assist everyone in the community, regardless of age, gender, nationality, religion, or sexuality.

Unlike paid staff, volunteers are not covered by the conditions of employment, however, they do have rights and responsibilities.

Rights of volunteers: • Work in a safe environment. • Be covered by insurance. • Receive training and relevant information. • Be recognised and respected as a valued team member.

Responsibilities of volunteers: • Be reliable and notify CASA of changes to availability. • Abide by policies and procedures. • Meet commitments. • Respect the rights and privacy of others.
