Lead Coordinator

This will be a rewarding position for someone with some experience in management or team leadership, who enjoys building relationships with others. An interest in supporting Older People, and their pets, and an understanding of their wellbeing is a great bonus!

If you have an interest in supporting a team of volunteer Coordinators and love small projects that deliver a great impact, then this role is for you!

You will work closely with, and have the support of the Operations team: ● Operations Manager ● Operations Committee Sponsor ● Pet Support Coordinator ● Area Coordinators ● Lead Welcome Officer As well as the support of: ● POOPS Marketing and Fundraising teams

Expected time commitment: Flexible based on availability but potential for 4 hours per week. There are no ‘office hours’ and you can work at your own pace and to fit your schedule. We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year to this role.

Requirements

National Police Certificate

Desirable Skills /Experience: Leadership, management, volunteer advocacy, working with older people, excellent communication skills, computer skills, organised, ability to problem solve. The role is fully remote, but the team is located throughout Perth and Southwest WA. Will suit someone who is based in Perth or southwest WA. You will need your own IT device to connect with the organisation and complete your role.
