VMCH is currently welcoming volunteers to engage with residents who have personalised activities which has been tailored to meet their individual interests, cultural background, and physical abilities, you would provide conversation and assistance to create a wonderful interlude which can enhance a resident's day.

A little bit about us, we’re a Catholic not for profit organisation, providing services to 7,600 people across Victoria. VMCH services are as diverse as the people we support. Every day of the year our teams provide a wide range of support from early learning and therapy, specialist education, disability services, affordable homes, residential aged care, retirement living and at-home aged care

With Volunteers assistance, the lifestyle team can provide a selection of activities every day. Volunteers may like to prepare activities or assist us to offer activities, such as music, word games, crafts. Having a chat over a cuppa or reading aloud from a newspaper, assisting or sitting quietly with residents through chapel are some of the many things you could do.

You will create new special memories for yourself, for residents and residents families who benefit from your gift of time. Volunteering even a small amount of time, provides connection and companionship, which can have a major and direct impact on the lives of others.
