The wardens role is varied and fulfilling.

As a couple you will be provided with a 2 bedroom house with all utilities paid for. You will get a small allowance to cover costs.

The role requires you to • take enquiries from customers wishing to stay at the campsite by phone, email and in person • maintain a booking system accurately and up to date • receive campers when they arrive and allocate sites or cabins a per their booking • take deposits and payments as required • maintain the campsite in an excellent manner • clear rubbish/empty bins as required • clean and maintain the cabins between use • prepare the cabins for guests • keep all grass areas mowed • ground maintenance as needed eg weed spraying • liaise with contractors as required • other tasks as required by the Campsite Committee

Key mandatory criteria • Be an active well-presented couple capable of some manual labour • Hold or willing to get a Working With Children Card • Be or become a member of the Scout Association • Good Customer service skills • Able to work unsupervised • Good time management • Basic IT skills – Excel, Word, Outlook

Scouts Victoria will carry out a National Police check on all applicants as part of their membership process. It is free to applicants

You will receive on the job training.
