Volunteer to supervise preparation, demonstration and completion of wood working and carpentry of a DIY, general tidy up of outside areas. Making wood items for Birallee Park Neighbourhood House and assist other members of the community to learn new skills in a fun environment. Will be responsible for the maintenance of common area and general clean up of shed and surrounding area, assisting preparation of event/workshops together with clean up afterwards, designating tasks to others that allow them to learn and develop skills, adhering to WH&S and completing risk assessments. Encouraging participants in finding a project and assisting the completion. Time commitment is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays between 9am and 2pm.
