Coffee Please! Come and join our wonderful residents for a coffee and a chat at their onsite café ‘Rosie’s’ on a Friday afternoon.

Our John Wesley Gardens Community at Geebung are seeking volunteers to assist residents to and from the onsite café. This will include collecting residents from their rooms and escorting them to the café, assisting staff in taking orders and joining residents with your own cuppa and refreshments for a chat.

It is important for our seniors to connect with people and community to promote health and wellbeing and alleviate loneliness. Life is a journey and companionship makes it interesting, challenging and vibrant. This role is suitable for people who have a cheerful and empathetic nature, can work autonomously, and have well developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Volunteers are currently required on a Friday afternoon between the hours of 1pm until 3pm. This can be organised weekly or fortnightly or monthly basis to suit.
