As a call centre volunteer, you'll play a vital role in our wildlife rehabilitation efforts, providing advice and guidance to callers who have found wildlife in distress.

In this role, you'll be part of a team of experienced wildlife professionals who are dedicated to supporting Western Australia's unique biodiversity. You'll receive comprehensive training on how to handle calls and provide advice, as well as ongoing support and guidance from the Wildcare Helpline Coordinator. Requirements for this position include a passion for wildlife conservation and a desire to make a difference in your local community. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You'll need to be comfortable using a computer and phone system, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Minimum commitment is a 3-5 hour shift per week. Once you complete your training, you have the option to volunteer from home or work at the Wildcare Helpline office at WA Wildlife.
