Thank you for your interest in assisting residents to participate in our John Wesley Gardens bowling program.

No experience required to be part of this team – enthusiasm, cheerfulness, patience, and understanding are just as important. In return we would like to offer you a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity to make a difference to the lives of others, meet people and learn some new skills!

Our bowling program for residents runs from approximately 9.30am until 12 noon each Friday morning. Our bowling volunteers support residents to play bowls while they enjoy a cuppa and a challenging game of indoor bowls. This program promotes independence, empowerment, friendship, and fun with residents while contributing to a relaxed and caring environment which enhances their all-round well-being.

Volunteering hours for the bowling program are Friday morning between the hours of 9.30am until 12 noon. This can be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis to suit.

Bowling Volunteers are not involved in providing clinical or personal care to senior residents.
