Multiple Sclerosis Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a lovely lady living in Garran who would benefit from your friendship and cultural connection. She enjoys listening to cultural music, being in the garden and wheelchair walks outside. She likes to chat about family and life in general.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good Spanish communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
