South Australia's largest table tennis club, Woodville District Table Tennis Club is working with the German Table Tennis Club to improve and develop its current facilities. The Clubs are keen to enlist some volunteers to work with them to undertake a variety of maintenance and property improvement tasks. It may also include opening and closing of the Clubrooms.

The outcome of maintenance work is to provide an environment to attract school, youth and senior groups to participate in table tennis. The objects of the two Clubs are:

• Woodville Club - To conduct, encourage, promote, advance and administer the Sport and to promote the economic and community service success, strength and stability of the Club, the Members and the Sport.

• German Club - To encourage, promote, and administer the German Table Tennis Club, fostering the development of the German community in South Australia

All Club maintenance is overseen by Club Board Member Malcolm Boyley. He will maintain a maintenance works schedule and manage its implementation working with a small maintenance team comprising both Club Members and voluntary helpers.

Implementation of works will be discussed with the maintenance crew and designation of tasks will be allocated to match the skills of the team members.

Recognising that some areas of work require specialist trade qualifications, such areas will be undertaken only by tradespeople but providing them with assistants as appropriate. The areas of work include property storage, cleaning, painting, gardening & property repair.
