Finance Assistant

Key responsibilities/scope

  • Work with the Head of Finance to assist the General Manager Admin and Operations to prepare financial reports for Board Meetings and Weekly Review Meetings with the Co-Founders
  • Ensure that all records are up to date and managed in accordance with best practices for a charity of the size of The United Project
  • Preparate financial reports to meet management and Board requirements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and administrative maintenance requirements of the ACNC, ASIC and ATO
  • Advise on business model, go-to-market strategies and budgets
  • Support the preparation of funding and grant applications, and
  • With the Senior Admin Manager, establish accounting functions for revenue, invoices and receipts.
