On the day the manager will identify your strengths and allocated you to one of the following duties.
- Doors
- Programme seller
- Merchandise seller
- Supervisor
- Ticket Collection
- Usher
- Runner
Skills and Experience
It is preferrable to have experience in one of the key duties listed above, although not required. Transferrable skills from other industries may assist. To get the most of out of the day, you must be an engaged, people orientated and music enthusiast. On the day training and partnering with experienced members will assist your on the day experience.
Organisational Background
The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic is a 169 year old society, consisting of both an orchestra and choir with over 100 members. Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir & Orchestra presents Handel’s iconic Messiah for the world record 243rd time since 1853.
