MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a lovely 95 year old lady in an Aged Care home in Werribee who would enjoy the company of a FEMALE friend to share in conversation over a coffee and walks around the facility. Her interests include family, reading and knitting.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good English communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language are very welcome to enquire.
