Looking to expand your Board credentials? Our organisation which has a critical environmental goal which strives towards a better future for the community is looking for a Non-Executive Director understudy who is a master at Accounting and Finance concepts to volunteer for a few hours per month.

We are a not-for-profit community Nursery. Our purpose is to protect and restore the ecological values of south-east Queensland habitats by returning locally indigenous plants to the landscape. We also have other key functions for the community which help those that can benefit most

This role would ideally suit someone with a finance background that would love to help their community or an accounting / finance student or recent graduate looking to see how a Executive Board functions with an eye on stepping up. This volunteer position would see you shine in demonstrating you financial and business skills and would be working alongside the Treasurer.

The role not only will cover the finance side but also has key touch points and provides direction to the Board on Industrial Relations, HR, WH&S, and Superannuation and key business drivers such as pricing, profitability analysis, systems integration, and taxation.

The organisation has grown consistently over the past 5 years and currently has 4 staff along with 20+ regular volunteers.
