Who are you? Some one who is enthusiastic and willing to contribute their skills (or willing to learn the skills) to our toy library. You can work independently and are self-motivated and will have a current Working With Children Check.

Who are we? Emerald Hill Toy Library provides a not-for-profit, member-based toy lending service to residents of the City of Port Phillip and surrounding areas. We currently operate two independent toy libraries within the City of Port Phillip - Middle Park Toy Library and South Melbourne Toy Library.

Our aim is to provide a broad range of quality toys that encourage families to play together and raise awareness of the importance and value of play in early childhood development. Emerald Hill Toy Library operates under the governance of a volunteer Management Committee whose members have a wide range of experience, expertise and backgrounds.

More importantly, everyone on our committee is a parent juggling family, work and volunteering commitments. We get that "life happens" and as part of our team we are here to help.

Position Description

• Create a marketing and promotional plan and calendar for our toy library that we, as a committee of volunteers, can help execute;
• Create reusable content, using Canva, for our facebook and Instagram accounts for both Middle Park Toy Library and South Melbourne Toy Library that highlights the benefits of joining a toy library and our toy library collections and how our toys help in childhood development.
• Schedule social media posts using Buffer
• Create flyers, posters and promotional materials
