Mock Interview Volunteers (VIC)

Ardoch
Logo for Ardoch

Who are we? Ardoch is a national children’s education charity, working hard to improve educational outcomes for children and young people in communities experiencing disadvantage by providing vital learning and wellbeing resources and activities.

“The overall experience listening to and asking the student’s about their experience and interests and future work and study goals was enjoyable and hopefully helpful to them in their future endeavours” (Ardoch volunteer)

With us you can gain:

  • training and support to help you feel confident in your role
  • the opportunity to play an important part in a young person’s education journey.

What do we do? We train and mobilise volunteers to schools and early learning centres, with a focus on building strong foundations of education such as literacy and numeracy. We broaden horizons for children by providing access to excursions and inspiring learning experiences. Basically, we’re showing up for the kids who need our help the most.

What’s involved? This opportunity involves volunteering for 3-5 hours at one of our events. You will conduct 15-minute interviews with students. We are in need of volunteers across Victoria (Metro Melbourne and regional) and Western Sydney, so there are sure to be opportunities to help schools in your local community.
