On Saturday 3rd December 2022, Walking Stars will take place under the dazzling lights of Melbourne and we are seeking volunteers to help us deliver this extra special event.

Course Marshals will be situated around the 21km course where all the action happens and are crucial to not just helping participants to navigate their way, but also creating a fun and positive atmosphere.
Your involvement will include:

• Providing friendly support to participants
• Helping along the track by ensuring participants are taking the correct routes.
• Actively seeking and listening to input and feedback from participants and report any participant concerns back to the Team Leader.
• Assisting event staff with any other duties as required.
• Promoting a positive safety culture by contributing to health and safety consultation and communications and through active participation in the reporting of hazards, incidents and near misses.
• Taking responsible care for your own health and safety and for the health and the safety of others.

Shifts will vary from 4-8 hours starting at 5pm and finishing around 2am. Longer shifts will include breaks and snacks will be provided.

You must attend a training session the week prior to the event to receive all the required information and be prepared for your role on the big day.
