Time/Tasks Required:

Christmas lunch for people living alone within the City of Kingston (Combined Rotary/TSA programme)

Monday, Dec 12th 9am - 4pm 9am - 11am Set Up 11am - 2pm Lunch - tasks include - greeting, making coffee, dishing up lunches, serving/waiting, topping up drinks on tables etc... 2pm - 4pm Pack up, dishes, vacuuming etc...

Christmas Cheer

Monday 12th Dec - 4pm - 6pm Set Up for Christmas Cheer Tuesday 13th Dec - Friday 16th Dec 9am - 10am Set up for day 10 - 12 noon - Meet & Greet community members

- Assist community members with toy selection, assist community members to get hampers & toys to car (trolley provided).

12 noon - lunch & top up of toys 1pm - 3pm - Meet & Greet community members

- Assist community members with toy selection, assist community members to get hampers & toys to car (trolley provided)

3pm - tidy up

Drivers:

We have some need for drivers to do pick ups from schools & businesses Times vary - so would need to go on WD & sign authority to drive

The Salvation Army - Kingston City Corps 13/12 - 16 Garden Boulevard, Dingley Village

Shifts:

Monday 12th - all day Can be in am & pm shifts. Tuesday - Friday - am & pm shifts

Clear and regular communication is facilitated with Leadership and mission volunteers to ensure smooth running of fundraising events. Mission volunteers are engaged and recruited as per plan. Ensure agreements with local councils and/or shopping centres are in place. Visit community spaces in the mapped area allocated to you. Create rosters and maps for volunteers. Assist with the gift wrapping.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements for the Position

· Experience in relevant field highly regarded.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Complete The Salvation Army (TSA) Mission Volunteer registration, induction and training - TSA is a ChildSafe workplace.

· Integrity checks as required for the role.
