A volunteer assistant to the reading group is required for our retirement village to enhance the lives of residents who are socially isolated or lonely and would benefit from a friendly visit. You will have the ability to interact with aged care residents, a positive attitude, be
reliable & able to commit to ongoing support with the reading group.

VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE A CURRENT FLU SHOT IN ORDER TO BEGIN THE INDUCTION PROCESS!

The government has recently changed vaccine requirements for aged care volunteers and workers. Volunteers must have at least one COVID 19 vaccination shot by 17th September. Additionally, they have strongly recommended disability support workers/volunteers get their COVID shots, and will consider making it mandatory by October 31st.
