The program

As a valuable volunteer of the Townsville team you will be providing support across the Targeted Family Support Programs. 

The Targeted Family Support Program focuses on the needs of the child, the child within the family and the family within the community, leading to positive outcomes for families. The program is available to families with children under 18 living in the Townsville region and has a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children.

The opportunity

This position suits someone over the age of 18 years who has a friendly and caring disposition with an aptitude for researching local community resources. 

The role is suited to applicants with experience working in the early childhood sector and in communicating with and engaging families. You will be skilled in providing support to others and have experience and carrying out administrative support tasks in a team environment.
