Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds

The Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds is a dedicated group of volunteers across Australia committed to ending greyhound suffering. CPG exposes the cruelty and corruption of greyhound racing and lobbies state governments to close the industry down. CPG will fight until the day that no greyhound suffers death, injury or abuse at the hands of the greyhound racing industry. We are all volunteers and we need help across various roles.

If you feel the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you: Volunteer from your own desk to write a 1,000 word paper for submission to The Conversation website. To submit an article, this website requires that you must be currently employed as a researcher or academic with a university or research institution. PhD candidates under supervision by an academic can also submit articles. Liaise as required with a senior CPG volunteer who will provide a spec for the article. Be willing to write in the plain English style required by The Conversation website.

Benefits to you:

  • You get to make a major contribution to greyhound welfare and volunteer with like-minded individuals
  • We will be able to provide you a letter of recommendation
  • We will be able to act as a reference for your CV or resume
You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
