Woolworths Carols in the Domain

Description:

For 40 years The Salvation Army has been the proud charity Partner of Woolworths Carols in the Domain. Throughout these years the Salvos have raised more than $3 million through the sale of candles and candle bags to help support Australians experiencing homelessness.

The Candle bags, filled with family treats and toys generously donated by Woolworths suppliers, are sold at Woolworths Carols in the Domain, and we need your support to make this happen! Whether you’re an individual or a group, we’re seeking volunteers to help us sell the candle bags and accept donations at the event.

All money raised by selling the candle bags goes towards supporting our homelessness programs, including the 100,000 meals we hope to deliver this Christmas.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements for the Position

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Mandatory Requirements of the Position

· Complete The Salvation Army (TSA) Mission Volunteer registration, induction and training - TSA is a ChildSafe workplace.

· Integrity checks as required for the role.
